I'll be introducing a new entry for the blog. The concept of this entry is very similar to the Now Introducing entries I've been doing where I introduce an artist or group to people of whom they have never heard of before. The difference is, with the Now Introducing entries, those are artists and groups that are still rookies in the game trying to make buzz or have yet to put out an album. The You Ain't Know entries will be strictly for artists or groups who have already made buzz but are slept on alot or have already released albums but still need the recognition. Whoever artist or group I introduce, make sure they get a listen and try not to sleep on them.
Filipino Australian R and B singer Israel was born in the Philippines, but moved to Australia during his teenage years. Listening to Hip Hop and R and B records at a young age, Israel was able to gain interest in becoming a recording artist. Israel signed a record deal with Nu Firm/Sony BMG records in 2005 and released his solo debut album entitled "Chapter One," during September of that year. He released four singles off that album including "Wake Up With You," "Old Skool Luv," "Work Da Middle Pt. 2," and "My Girl." With already gaining recognition in Australia, Israel is planning on expanding his fan base by working with artists in the United States to help attract new fans. He has singles that have been leaked on the internet that features Fabolous and Slim of 112. His sophomore album is entitled "The Legacy," and no release date has been set.
Even though some of the music videos aren't that great, the songs make up for it. I assure that all or at most, the songs are straight heat!
A new song by veteran West Coast rapper Snoop Dogg has leaked on the net. Entitled "Sexual Eruption," is isn't the typical gangsta music listeners usually hear from Snoop. Throughout the song, Snoop usues an autotuner, the similar music intrument singer T-Pain uses. This song is more intended for the club scene rather than the streets. It's an average song at best. This is supposedly his first single off his next release entitled "Ego Trippin'."
After many set backs, Mario Barrett is set to release his album "Go!" on November 27,2007. His first single "How Do I Breathe," was received well by many listeners, but do to the very early leak of the song in the end of 2006, the song already was played a lot by the time the video came out during the summer of 2007, causing many listeners to await for another single. "Crying Out For Me" is another good song but hasn't received much airplay. Many songs from his album "Go!" have been leaked onto the net. 5 out of the 6 songs that are displayed here will appear on the album unless another tracklisting comes out. "What Is It Gonna Be" will be left out of the album.
This is the only notable album that will be released on October 30,2007.
