Now Introducing 9/17/07

This up and coming R and B artist has a record deal with Def Jam. Ironic thing is, he's also been a ghostwriter for some time and has written hits such as Rihanna's "Umbrella" and J. Holiday's track "Bed" which to name a few, have been successful on the charts so far. The ironic part is, Ne-yo has become a household name after releasing two great albums and was known for alot of ghostwriting as well, and is also signed to Def Jam. It now looks like Ne-yo might have some competition, along side label mate The Dream. The Dream is a solo artist who has a record and a music video that he just came out with entitled, "Shawty Is The Shit." It's been in rotation for a while. He was also featured on the "Bartender" remix with T-Pain and Akon. His untitled album still has an unknown date on when it will release.
